The “Whole Church, Whole Life Bible College” is first of all a concept. Way of Life Literature has more than 40 Bible courses for use in Bible colleges, Sunday Schools, etc., but that is not what we are talking about here. A church can use any curricula it pleases for a whole church, whole life Bible college.

The “Whole Church, Whole Life Bible College” is first of all a challenge to churches to be much stronger as Bible training institutions in these evil days.
We are seeing a great collapse of fundamental Baptist churches, churches dead, churches dying, churches entering the wayward path of contemporary evangelicalism. The great dangers of the internet and artificial intelligence (AI), dangers moral and doctrinal, will no doubt increase continually until the Rapture. In spite of claims of contemporary Catholic propagandists, the Roman Catholic Church worships Mary. They use the term “venerate,” but it is the same thing.
According to Rome, she was immaculately (sinlessly) conceived, participated in Christ’s suffering for mankind, ascended bodily to Heaven, was crowned Queen of the universe, and intercedes for sinners.
During a radio message concluding the Jubilee of the Redemption, April 28, 1935, Pope Pius XI gave the Catholic Mary the title Co-redemptrix. At least five times.. see full report

A regenerate church membership is an ancient Baptist principle based on clear biblical teaching, and it was practiced by most Baptist churches in America until the beginning of the 20th century.

Recommended Materials for Church Bookstores

A well-run Christian bookstore can be a powerful and important ministry, and I believe that it is nearly essential today that churches set up their own bookstores. Even if there is a Christian bookstore in the area, it is more than probable that it contains many books that are doctrinally unsound. Further, it probably sells “Christian” rock. One of the most dangerous places today for a Bible-believing Christian is the average bookstore. (See “Dangers in Christian Bookstores,” www.wayoflife.org.)
The Lord Jesus Christ commissioned the churches to thoroughly disciple every member. He said to teach them “to observe ALL things whatsoever I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:20). That is part of the ministry of the Great Commission. Further, the churches are tasked with protecting the believers from false teachers. A good bookstore is a help toward.. see full report

John Rice, Lester Roloff, Repentance, and Sloppy Soul Winning

In the 1980s, Jack Hyles and Curtis Hutson changed the historic Baptist definition of repentance. I suspect that the motive was to justify the cheap, numbers-oriented soul winning methodology that was popular in that day. This was the methodology that was foundational to Big-ism with its emphasis on “the largest ... the fastest growing... the greatest.”

Two Americas: The Old and the New

I love America. Even with America in steep decline, I believe it is the greatest nation on God’s green earth, as one radio personality likes to say. As long as I can remember, I have been thankful to God for America and glad to be an American citizen. Spending a large portion of my life overseas has given me a different perspective of America than most of its citizens, but I know America. I have traveled its length and breadth, from sea to shining sea. I’ve lived in many states (Florida, Tennessee, Missouri, Louisiana, Washington, Oklahoma) and visited every state, most of them multiple times. I’ve seen the purple mountain majesties, the fruited plain, the sun rising over the Atlantic and setting over the Pacific. Forgetting for a moment America’s vast interior, with its mountains, canyons, plains, plateaus, deserts, gigantic lakes, rivers, waterfalls, wetlands, and rain forests, America has 84,000 miles of ocean coastline. I’ve seen all of the the coastlines in the mainland, from Miami.. see full report

“I am in awe as to the number of church folks that are in full remorse over the death of country music star (Queen of Country Music) Dolly Parton. Church folks my age have a short memory of her support for the LGBT community and how much they support her, which says it all. It’s the older folks that are supposed to be the pillars of the church and warn of worldly music, but they fall in step with one of country music’s most ardent supporters of the LGBTQ community.”
