This is a 312 page introductory edition of the 1,100 plus page two-volume course A History of the Churches from a Baptist Perspective. It is designed to be an introduction to church history.

It begins with the doctrine of apostasy in the New Testament epistles and the development of the Roman Catholic Church over the early centuries. It covers the rule of the Catholic Church (AD 700-1500), the Crusades, the Byzantine (eastern Roman) Empire, the Waldenses, the Inquisition, the Protestant Reformation, and Baptists in Europe, England, and America.

The course consists of a video series, PowerPoints, and a textbook. The PowerPoint set used is the set from the two volume set mentioned above.

There is a syllabus, review questions, tests, and test scores. It can be used as an introductory course for Bible colleges, youth training, home schooling, Sunday Schools, etc.
