In our estimation, the doctrine of the Pre-tribulation Rapture is a fundamental of the New Testament faith. While I can’t answer every question that can be raised on this issue (or any other major doctrine), I find more than enough clear Scripture to settle the timing of the Rapture and to be convinced that it is an essential doctrine.

Caedmon’s Call was formed in 1993 with six founding members (Cliff Young, Danielle Glenn, Todd Bragg, Cari Harris, Doug Elmore, and Aaron Tate). Derek Webb joined early on and wrote many of the group’s songs. Webb left in 2003 to pursue a solo career, and he has been on and off with the band since then (2007-2011, 2022).
As with the vast majority of contemporary worship groups, there was always a unisex emphasis in Caedmon’s Call (founded 1993). It is one of the many ways that they are conformed to the world in direct disobedience to God’s Word (Romans 12:2). Charles Wesley (1707-1778) was preeminent hymn writer of the First Great Awakening era, co-founder with his brother John of the Methodist Church. John was primarily the preacher. He rode 250,000 miles on horseback and preached over 42,000 sermons in his lifetime, an average of 500 times yearly. Charles was primarily the hymn writer. He wrote 6,000 hymns. He wrote an average of 30 lines of poetry daily for 50 years.
The Wesleys built their hymn singing on the foundation laid by Isaac Watts.
“As the architect of the modern English hymn, Watts had raised a platform on which the Wesleys were able to build. Of the seventy hymns in John Wesley’s first hymn book, published in America in 1737, more than a third were by Isaac Watts” (Rees, A Nation of Singing Birds).
The Wesleys were also influenced by Moravian hymn singing. They first encountered Moravians on their voyage to America in 1736 to do missionary work.. Read More

When Bible-believing Christians take the Word of God and measure leaders, churches, denominations and movements by it, ecumenical types invariably charge them with a lack of love. For example, a woman wrote to me and said:
“You preach separatism. What about unity? You preach about heresy. WHAT ABOUT LOVE? ... From what I have viewed on your website, you hold your views as high as the Bible itself. What you call ‘zeal for the Bible’ I call arrogance and pride. If you knew the Bible as well as you claim, then I believe you’d live it. The lost will never be reached through such hatred” (Letter from a reader, May 1997).
This lady was upset about my preaching, but instead of explaining my alleged error from the Bible, she charged me with a lack of love, and this, in spite of her own incredibly judgmental attitude toward..Read More

Slavery has been practiced since the fall of man. It is not a product of “racism”; it is not an issue of skin color; it is a product of man’s sinful heart. The Lord Jesus Christ described man’s condition with perfect accuracy and uncovered the fundamental issue of slavery:
