AI CREATING AVATARS OF THE DEAD (Friday Church News Notes, November 21, 2025, www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) - We are only at the dawn of AI and it is obvious that it is a major change agent, with great potential for good and evil, like the internet at large. AI itself is mere technology, but fallen man invariably uses technology for evil. The following is excerpted from “AI app 2Wai,” The Express Tribune, Karachi, Pakistan, Nov. 14, 2025: “A new artificial intelligence app has prompted significant debate after introducing tools that allow users to create interactive digital avatars of deceased relatives. The company behind the project, 2Wai, gained widespread attention when founder Calum Worthy released a promotional video demonstrating the technology in use. The video shows a pregnant woman speaking to an AI-generated recreation of her late mother through her phone. In a later scene, the avatar reads a bedtime story to the woman’s baby. The footage then depicts the child growing up while continuing to interact with the AI version of his grandmother, culminating in an adult telling the avatar that she is about to become a great-grandmother. The video ends with the line, ‘With 2Wai, three minutes can last forever.’ Worthy said the company aims to build ‘a living archive of humanity’ through its avatar-based social network.”
YAD VASHEM IDENTIFIES 5 MILLION JEWS MURDERED IN THE HOLOCAUST (Friday Church News Notes, November 21, 2025, www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) - The following is excerpted from “Museum identifies,” World Israel News, Nov. 4, 2025: “Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center in Jerusalem, has identified five million of the six million Jews murdered during the Holocaust--a milestone reached after roughly seven decades of painstaking research. As the number of Holocaust survivors continues to decline, Yad Vashem officials say the effort to preserve names and memories has taken on new urgency, ensuring that future generations will still have access to personal testimonies and records. ... By digitally analyzing hundreds of millions of archival documents once too vast to process manually, experts say as many as 250,000 additional names could still be recovered. The recovered names are preserved in Yad Vashem’s Central Database of Shoah Victims’ Names, available online in six languages.”
TRANSGENDER “WOMEN” TO BE BANNED FROM ALL FEMALE OLYMPIC EVENTS (Friday Church News Notes, November 21, 2025, www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) - The following is excerpted from “Transgender women,” News.com.au, Nov. 11, 2025: “Transgender women are set to be banned from all female Olympic events next year. The news comes as International Olympic Committee (IOC) bosses launched a scientific investigation into the issue last year after the Paris 2024 Games were overshadowed by the controversial gold medal triumphs of boxers Imane Khelif of Algeria and Lin Yu-ting of Chinese Taipei ... the IOC, under new president Kirsty Coventry, is reportedly set to impose a blanket ban across all sports ahead of the Los Angeles Games. Not only is that in line with Coventry’s campaign pledge that she wants to protect the female category, but it also would avoid a potential conflict with US President Donald Trump, who signed an executive order in February to prevent transgender women from competing in female sports. ... Presenting the evidence last week, medical and scientific director Dr Jane Thornton said research showed there were ‘physical advantages to being born male that remained with athletes’ in what Elon Musk sarcastically referred to as a ‘mind-blowing discovery.’”
FASHION REVOLUTIONARY MARY QUANT’S DEATH (Friday Church News Notes, November 21, 2025, www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) - Before men were wearing dresses, women were wearing pants, and the pioneers of this phenomenon knew that they were creating a revolution that would eventually destroy biblical morality in western culture. Consider Mary Quant, the revolutionary British fashion designer of the Beatles era, who died on April 13, 2022, in England at age 93. In 2019, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London had a major exhibit on Quant, inventor of the mini-skirt, the micro-mini, and hot pants. Mary understood that fashion is a language. The exhibit was a clothing exhibit, but the focus was revolution, liberation from biblical sexual mores, and breaking down the barriers between the sexes (unisex, androgyny). There was no attempt to hide this. Quant put women in men’s attire: pants, ties, suit jackets, and short hair. Mary Quant knew that trousers on women is not an issue merely of comfort and freedom of movement. Following are some quotes from the exhibition signage of this major museum: “using fashion to question hierarchies and gender rules,” “a rebellious approach to established gender norms,” “mocking religion,” “an independent style,” “self-expression,” “freedom.” “The miniskirt became an international symbol of women’s liberation.” “[Quant’s] provocative styles reflected increasingly relaxed attitudes in society towards sexuality in all its forms, reinforced legally by the decriminalisation of homosexuality in 1967.” Observe that this clothing exhibit directly connects unisex fashion with homosexual rights. “Asked by the Guardian newspaper in 1967 if her clothes could be considered ‘vulgar’ because they were so revealing, Quant replied that she loved vulgarity and embraced it. ‘Good taste is death, vulgarity is life,’ she said, adding that the provocative poses of her models reflected the new sexual openness of the times, which was fueled by the development of the birth control pill” (“Mary Quant,” Los Angeles Times, Apr. 13, 2023). The 1960s was a major changing of the times. Mary helped create the ME culture, the “lovers of their own selves” generation prophesied in 2 Timothy 3:2. The music, the fashion, the entertainment, the commerce, it all broadcasts the ancient Satanic lie, “It’s your life; live as you please!” Mary Quant was smarter than those professing Christians who think that pants on women is a non-issue. It was a major issue in the 1960s, and it is a major issue today. “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them” (Genesis 1:27). The masculinization of women is just as evil as the feminization of men. Woe be unto pastors who are silent in the face of this revolution!
NIM CHIMPSKY VS. EVOLUTION (Friday Church News Notes, November 21, 2025, www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) - In the 1970s, a chimpanzee named Nim Chimpsky was raised as a human and taught sign language. He could not understand anything more than simple commands. The longest string of signed words Nim ever signed was “give orange me give eat orange me eat orange give me eat orange give me you.” Apes can’t think like man, can’t talk like man, can’t walk like man, and can’t play a piano with its foot-hand. Apes aren’t man, have zero potential to be man, and man has never been any kind of ape. The Bible is the only book that describes man’s origins accurately, because it alone was written by the God who was there. According to the Bible, Nim Chimpsky’s great grandfather entertained Adam in the Garden of Eden, and his descendants have never been anything other than apes. If an ape gradually evolved human walking, it would conceivably start with some kind of clumsy part-ape, part-human walk. It would be a crippled ape, and like a four-winged fruit fly it would not survive. Michael Pitman, who taught biology at Cambridge, said, “If a group of them decided to swing down from the trees and become Homo erectus on the plain, upright gait would be the last thing they would want” (Adam and Evolution). David Berlinski, Ph.D. in philosophy from Princeton University and post-doctoral fellow in mathematics and molecular biology at Columbia University, is a “secular Jew and an agnostic,” but he is sensible enough to know that man is not an advanced ape, and he is courageous enough to say so publicly in his inimitable way. Commenting on the attempt to teach apes sign language, Berlinski observes, “After years of punishing trials, a few of them have been taught the rudiments of various primitive symbol systems. Having been given the gift of language, they have nothing to say. When two simian prodigies meet, they fling their signs at one another. ... Simian social structures are often intricate. Chimpanzees, bonobos, and gorillas reason; they form plans; they have preferences; they are cunning; they have passions and desires; and they suffer. The same is true of cats, I might add. In much of this, we see ourselves. But beyond what we have in common with the apes, we have nothing in common, and while the similarities are interesting, the differences are profound” (Berlinski, The Devil’s Delusion, p. 156). In his latest book, Science after Babel, Berlinski “challenges Harvard paleontologist Stephen Jay Gould’s idea that the difference between humans and chimpanzees is merely one of degree but not kind, calling this notion ‘utterly ridiculous.’”
FEATHERED PILOTS (Friday Church News Notes, November 21, 2025, www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) - The following is from CreationMoments.com, July 3, 2025: “You are the pilot of a Boeing 767 airliner, bringing the great ship in for a landing. Approaching the airport, you extend the slat on the leading edge of each wing so that you have more lift as your speed slows. As the runway nears, you raise the nose of the plane to catch more air. In the final moments of landing, you bring the feathers, which act as air brakes, out of the wing to reduce your lift and settle easily onto the runway. Yet, without any training, young birds do this very same thing every day. High-speed photography has revealed that birds follow each one of these sequences as they approach and land. First, as they prepare to land, they slow their speed and increase their lift by extending and lowering the front part of the wing. Then, to slow even more, they angle their body from a horizontal flying position to a more upright angle. Finally, they drop the feathers on the back of their wing--after which the plane’s feathers are named--to settle nicely on a tree branch, with virtually no effort at all. Yes, the principles of flight, refined by over 80 years of man’s experience, were simply taught to the birds by our loving Creator. What a wonderful testimony birds offer to the work of our Creator!
