This book/course deals with every aspect of Christian holiness or sanctification, both doctrinal and practical. It begins with the author’s experiences as a young Christian looking into Pentecostal, “entire sanctification,” and “deeper life” teachings (e.g., The Calvary Road and The Green Letters).
The lessons include position and practice; relationship and fellowship; salvation and the New Testament church; a pilgrim lifestyle; a biblical testing mindset; putting on the new man and putting off the old man; the life of adoption; dying to self and living to Christ; abiding in Christ; Spirit filling, patient continuance; immersion in the Scriptures; the godly home; soul afflictions; pursuing God’s will; confession of sin; non-conformity to the world; living by faith; the armor of God; hymn singing; and God’s chastisement.
Most major New Testament passages dealing with holiness are exegeted, including John 15:1-17; Acts 2:22-42; Romans 4:17-21; 6:1-14; 8:5-23; 12:1-21; Galatians 2:20; Ephesians 4:22-25; 5:22 - 6:4; 6:10-20; Colossians 3:16; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 5:12-14; 12:1-13; 2 Peter 1:3-11; 1 John 1:5 - 2:2.
