O Timothy is a monthly magazine geared toward exhorting God’s people to stand for the truth and to resist error. The magazine began its 43rd year of publication in 2026. It is a large format publication; each issue is 24 pages long; and it is packed with color pictures and graphics.

The title, taken from 1 Timothy 6:20, describes the burden of the magazine, which is to urge men in these last days to keep the faith once delivered to the saints and to avoid the error which is on every hand. Paul’s burden for Timothy was that he keep the old paths. That is our burden through
O Timothy magazine. The aim is to help protect churches from end-time apostasy through doctrinal preaching and carefully documented research.

O Timothy contains challenging and practical doctrinal studies and well-researched reports on ecumenism, apostasy, apologetics, archaeology, persecution, and current events. Everything is viewed from a biblical perspective.

O Timothy is edited by David Cloud, Director of Way of Life Literature for 50 years and missionary to South Asia for 35 years.

SOME TESTIMONIALS ABOUT O TIMOTHY MAGAZINE

Some of the comments of our readers are unprintable and not very kind! We won’t print those. The following comments were made obviously by those who appreciate the magazine:

“After reading your article on Vision Forum, I just had to write and tell you how much I enjoy the timely subjects. I've especially appreciated your writings on current and contemporary topics. It seems like there's always some new, out-of-balance, so-called ‘Christian’ ministry trying to make some headway into our churches. Your writing on these topics prevents them from misleading some sincere, although naive, Christians.  That's one of the reasons that we receive multiple copies for people at our church. We have at least 50 on our ‘O Timothy’ monthly list who eagerly await each issue. It covers a lot of questions that I would not have time to preach on, and at times when personally dealing with people who might be questioning that subject, I give them a copy of the ‘O Timothy’ and say, ‘Here's a good article on that subject.’” -- Pastor Andrew Rusnacko

“There are three things that people want to be sure and not do: 1. Tug on Superman’s cape; he doesn’t like it. 2. Catch a speeding bullet in your teeth; it’s rough on the fillings. 3. Miss reading O Timothy; if you do you’ll miss something good!” --Evangelist, Maryland

“One of the many benefits of this magazine is the depth and detail involved in Bro. Cloud’s research and writing. When I finish reading a copy of
O Timothy, I come away with good, solid information-not just little tidbits. As a pastor, I feel that it is important to keep abreast of the current trends and issues of separation. The problem is, I do not have the time to read and evaluate the multitude of ‘Christian’ publications out there, nor do I have the time to attend their meetings, etc. Therein lies the value of the ministry that the Lord has given to Bro. Cloud. Yes, I am aware that there are other fundamental information sources, but I am unaware of any that will give me such in-depth coverage from a local church, Baptist perspective as well.” --Pastor Gordon Conner, Tabernacle Baptist Church, Vancouver, British Columbia

“I want to say that your magazine
O Timothy has been a real blessing to me; it has become a very valuable part of my files of information. ... In these days of serious compromise, your ministry is a breath of fresh air. Keep up the good work.” --Allen Dickerson, pastor, editor, president, Maryland Baptist Bible College

“I am writing to tell you how much I enjoy reading your magazine
O Timothy. I look forward with eager anticipation for its arrival each month. This is solid meat and I devour every word of it.”

O Timothy always has such a wealth of information. I devour each issue! It is a favorite and a big help.” -- Jerry Huffman, Editor, Calvary Contender

“[Your articles] contain information which preachers sorely need to know. I suggest that copies be sent to fundamental Bible institutes everywhere. Would-be translators and all missionaries need this material.” --Bruce Lackey, former Dean, Tennessee Temple Bible School

“I appreciate the spirit in which you impart the information which is positive for truth’s sake but not with a fleshly critical spirit.” --Subscriber,
O Timothy

“I thoroughly enjoy
O Timothy’s content, variety, and tactful yet truthful handling of important doctrinal issues and trends today. I can think of so many men who need to hear the things in this magazine.” --Missionary, Japan

“Many, many thanks for your
O Timothy publication. It is so edifying and so informative. You and your ministry is a tremendous blessing to true Christianity.” --Bartholomew Brewer, Mission to Catholics

“I would like to thank you for the ministry the Lord has given you. It has really been a big help to me. Your magazine is one of the best investments I have made.” --Pastor. Iowa

“I would like to thank you for the ministry the Lord has given you. It has really been a big help to me. Your magazine is one of the best investments I have made.” --Edward Caughill, Tabernacle Baptist Seminary, Virginia Beach, Virginia

“Our students are required to read
O Timothy and they are tested on the contents of each issue.” -- Christ McNeilly, Fairhaven Baptist College

Sharing Policy: Much of our material is available for free, such as the hundreds of articles at the Way of Life web site. Other items we sell to help fund our expensive literature and foreign church planting ministries. Way of Life's content falls into two categories: sharable and non-sharable. Things that we encourage you to share include the audio sermons, O Timothy magazine, FBIS articles, and the free eVideos and free eBooks. You are welcome to make copies of these at your own expense and share them with friends and family. You may also post parts of reports and/or entire reports to websites, blogs, etc as long as you give proper credit (citation). A link to the original report is very much appreciated as the reports are frequently updated and/or expanded. Things we do not want copied and distributed are "Store" items like the Fundamental Baptist Digital Library, print editions of our books, electronic editions of the books that we sell, the videos that we sell, etc. The items have taken years to produce at enormous expense in time and money, and we use the income from sales to help fund the ministry. We trust that your Christian honesty will preserve the integrity of this policy. "For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward" (1 Timothy 5:18). Questions? support@wayoflife.org
