GOD’S WILL FOR REDEEMED SAINTS AT THE END OF THE AGE (Friday Church News Notes, September 4, 2026, www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) - In the Friday Church News Notes we publish reports about these evil times. The goal is to inform and warn. In light of these things, what should God’s redeemed people be doing? We are not left to puzzle this out for ourselves. Christ has given His people their precise marching orders to the end of the age and has promised to be with those who obey it (“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world,” Mt. 28:18-20). Following are further instructions: Do not fret because of evildoers; trust in the Lord, and do good; delight thyself in the Lord (Ps. 37:1-4). Do not be anxious (Php. 4:6-7; 1 Pe. 5:7). Do not engage in evil associations (1 Co. 15:33). Be not unequally yoked together with unbelievers (2 Co. 6:14-18). Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them (Eph. 5:11). Pray without ceasing (Eph. 6:16; 1 Th. 5:17). Pray for those who are in authority that we might lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty (1 Ti. 2:1-2). Build Christ-centered homes and raise a godly seed for Christ (Mal. 2:15; Eph. 5:22-6:4). Build New Testament churches (1 Co. 3:9-17) that are the pillar and ground of the truth (1 Ti. 3:15), spiritual bodies with each member functioning in the ministry (Eph. 4:11-16), spiritual houses made of living stones (1 Pe. 2:5). This is God’s agenda for His people in this present age, and its effectual fulfillment requires “all hands on deck.” America is a playground, partying on the way to hell, for the most part, but God’s people need to be wise, sober, vigilant, and diligent, knowing that the hour is late on God’s prophetic clock and life is too short to waste on vanities.
THE MYTHOLOGY OF ROSA PARKS (Friday Church News Notes, September 4, 2026, www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) - The following is excerpted from “Young Washington: Reclaiming American Heroism,” Standing for Freedom, Aug. 26, 2027: “The war against ‘Christian America’ was relentless. A man born in 1915 was a man born into a nation whose identity was in Christ--in that era, over 90 percent of Americans identified as Christian, with more than half of them attending church regularly. Our cultural traditions were rooted in our shared Christian faith. A century later, he died in a pagan nation, one that had fully embraced abortion, child mutilation, ‘assisted suicide,’ and other moral evils. ... George Washington was no longer the incorruptible patriarch of a nation --he was a slave owner, a hypocrite. Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello now has a permanent ‘Slavery at Monticello’ exhibit, designed to ‘balance the historical record.’ In practice, these programs put our Founding Fathers on trial. They have been cut down so they can more easily be replaced. ... Take, for example, the Civil Rights-era heroine Rosa Parks, whose story is told in classrooms nationwide. She is presented as a weary commuter who spontaneously stood against segregation in the South. There is an air of destiny about it, as if she had been plucked from obscurity by Providence for greatness. History tells a different tale. The Women’s Political Council had long planned to find the right candidate to initiate the Montgomery bus boycott. Months earlier they had passed on Claudette Colvin--an unwed, pregnant teenager who could not effectively anchor the story they were weaving. Parks was far more than a tired seamstress: she was a veteran organizer and secretary of the local NAACP and knew what her arrest could set into motion. When she was taken into custody for refusing to take a seat at the back of the bus, the movement finally had its banner-bearer-- someone they could craft a myth around.”
FORMER PSYCHIC WARNS OF DISNEY’S KIDS’ MOVIE “HEXED” (Friday Church News Notes, September 4, 2026, www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) - The following is excerpted from “Psychic Turned Christian,” Crosswalk, Aug. 25, 2026: “Speaking with CBN News, Jenn Nizza did not hold back, giving her thoughts and opinions on what she believes Disney is doing with their upcoming animated film. She mentioned that the company is showcasing witchcraft or necromancy ‘in a really beautiful way,’ despite the practice being strictly prohibited by Scripture. ‘[It] makes me think of Satan masquerading as an angel of light--and that’s really disturbing,’ she said. ... Nizza, who posts content about exposing the occult on her YouTube channel, argued that other films Disney has released up until this point have made it possible for people to accept a film such as ‘Hexed.’ We’ve grown desensitized to things regarding the occult because bits and pieces of it have been sprinkled throughout their films. ... Nizza acknowledged that she could relate to the main protagonist as she began practicing the occult at around 12 or 13 because it gave her a sense of purpose and an opportunity to serve others. ... She later realized, however, that the communication with the deceased was actually ‘demons’ who were ‘masquerading as grandmothers, husbands, wives and children.’”

BRITAIN DEMANDS ISRAEL ABANDON “WEST BANK” (Friday Church News Notes, September 4, 2026, www.wayoflife.org, fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) - The “West Bank” is a name given to Judea and Samaria by Jordan, when Jordan annexed it in 1950 following the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. It was conquered by Israel during the Six-day War (1967). Judea and Samaria are integral parts of the land God gave to Abraham and his seed (Genesis 17:1-8). The following is excerpted from “Britain’s moral depravity,” Israel Today, Aug. 28, 2026: “Astoundingly, the British government is not only demanding that Israel ethnically cleanse its own people from their ancestral homeland but is proposing to punish it for refusing to do so. The foreign secretary, Ed Miliband, objected to the Israeli government’s tender for the construction of thousands of new homes in the E1 corridor connecting Jerusalem to the Israeli city of Ma’ale Adumim in Judea, which he described as an ‘unacceptable and destructive act.’ He summoned the Israeli chargé d’affaires to demand ‘an immediate reversal’ of the E1 development. ... Quite apart from the colonialist-style arrogance, what an absolute farrago of falsehoods, bigotry and historical and legal illiteracy. ... The ‘West Bank’ is not, and has never been, Palestinian land because there never was any Palestinian land. There has never been a Palestinian state. Palestine was the name given to Judea by the conquering Romans who wanted to erase its Jewish character. The Jews are the only people for whom the holy land has ever been their national kingdom.”
JASON ALDEAN’S COUNTRY ROCK PHILOSOPHY (Friday Church News Notes, September 4, 2026, www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) - In 2023, Jason Aldean was in the media spotlight for his song “Try That in a Small Town,” which stirred up opposition by the “woke” crowd. Aldean might be politically conservative, but he is a typical country rocker, which is a fundamental part of America’s problem, not the solution. Aldean’s filthy songs make a mockery of God’s holy laws and encourage people to live as they please and thumb their noses at God’s Word. Consider the song “Church Pew or Barstool.” It’s about wanting to get away from a “church pew” town. The country rocker moans, “Why do I hang around in this church pew or bar stool kinda town?” In “My Kinda Party,” Aldean sings about partying with “a little tan-legged Georgia dream; she’s rockin’ them holey jeans.” He’s a married man, but his music glorifies drinking and adultery. He sings about having a “one night rodeo” with the aforementioned “Georgia dream.” In “Burnin’ It Down,” Aldean pursues the same filthy theme. He’s in bed with his “baby,” “sippin’ on some cold Jack Daniels.” The filthy country rock lifestyle can create a flame in the night, but there is no blessing. It’s a fool’s dream. It is the sound track for broken hearts, ruined marriages, serial divorce, crashed cars, neglected children, sad and lonely people, domestic violence, suicide, raging jealousy, and a drunkard’s untimely death. The country rock crowd mocks God’s holy laws, glories in every form of lasciviousness, ridicules Bible lovers, then sings “Amazing Grace” to spread a thin veneer of religion over their wickedness and to salve their conscience. Every preacher should be lifting his voice against these things which are destroying the moral fabric of society and sending America to hell, but the silence from most pulpits is deafening. Did I hear some preacher say, “It’s not my business”? God says it is. “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them” (Ephesians 5:11).
PHYSICIAN WASP (Friday Church News Notes, September 4, 2026, www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) - The following is from CreationMoments.com, May 12, 2026: “In previous ‘Creation Moments’ features we’ve talked about wasps that control crop pests. Natural controls—such as these wasps—show the Creator’s hand in designing the creation. New facts about how wasps control pests make our Creator’s hand even more evident. There are several thousand species of wasps that lay their eggs inside crop pests or use the pests for food. These wasps have become a popular form of natural pest control among farmers and gardeners. Researchers have now discovered that the wasps do more than simply feed on the pests or use them as food for their young. Typically, the wasps will inject their eggs into worm-like pest larvae. It has been discovered that the wasp eggs are coated with a virus that holds the pest larvae in the immature stage until the developing young wasps have no more need of the egg. The virus appears to move to an organ inside the pest larva and affects the insect’s immune system. It also acts on the larva’s endocrine system to take away the larva’s appetite. So the pest larva destroys less crop, and being starved for food, fails to develop into an adult. This gives the wasp eggs plenty of time to develop into young wasps who will finish off the pest. Researchers are still trying to discover exactly how the virus’s carefully orchestrated attack strategy works. Clearly, no creature nor the creation itself invented this strategy.
