AUSTRALIAN WOMAN GIVEN SEVERE PENALTY FOR CALLING A “TRANSGENDER” MAN “A BLOKE IN A FROCK” (Friday Church News Notes, December 12, 2025, www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) - The following is excerpted from “Christian Campaigner Guilty of Vilification,” Vision, Queensland, Australia, Sept. 1, 2025: “Christian advocate for women Kirralie Smith and her organisation Binary could be fined up to a total of $200,000 after the Local Court of New South Wales found her guilty of vilifying two transgender soccer players. In two separate judgments NSW Deputy Chief Magistrate Sharon Freund ruled that calling the male-born players ‘men’ was unlawful vilification under the NSW Anti-Discrimination Act. ... One judgment found that Kirralie Smith’s social media posts pointing out that one of the vilified players was the top goal scorer in a women’s competition, was vilification in breach of the law. The other ruled that calling the plaintiff ‘a bloke in a frock’ was vilification. ... The national director of the Family First party Lyle Shelton who is also a director of Binary, said the court ruling is ‘a further blow for girls’ and women’s rights and for freedom of speech. These are unjust decisions based on unjust laws. The law must be changed to protect girls’ and women’s sports and freedom of speech. Australians should be free to engage in debate, even robustly,’ he asserted. ‘The limits to free speech should be at incitement to violence, not to protect the political positions of those engaged in identity politics by shutting down discussion. ... Sadly, Liberal and Labor politicians allow the law to be used vexatiously by anti-free speech activists.”” [CONCLUDING NOTE: In early December 2025, Smith was ordered to pay damages AU$95,000 and publish a statement that she has been found guilty of unlawful vilification.]
THE GLOBAL REBELLION (Friday Church News Notes, December 12, 2025, www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) - The global rebellion against the created reality of male and female is foretold in the following prophecy: “Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure” (Psalm 2:1-5). The “bands” and “cords” refer to God’s holy laws against which man has rebelled. Consider Genesis 1:27, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” The global unisexual, homosexual, and transsexual movements are blatant renunciations of God’s law. If they could, rebellious mankind would charge God Himself with vilification, but God will do the final judging, not man. Christ will sit on the throne of this world, judging in righteousness, and nothing can stop it. “Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel” (Psalm 2:6-9). In the mean time, the gracious God is giving all men an opportunity to be saved through faith in Jesus Christ, as the rest of this amazing prophecy says. “Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him” (Psalm 2:10-12).
PROTESTANT LEADERS PROCLAIM “HOLINESS” OF TRANSGENDERISM (Friday Church News Notes, December 12, 2025, www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) - In the apostasy race, it is difficult to beat a love for the insanity of transgenderism. The following is excerpted from “Liberal Protestant Churches,” Christian Post, Nov. 14, 2025: “Several liberal Protestant and Jewish denominations declared transgenderism ‘holy’ this week in direct rebuke of a vote by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) to bar transgender procedures in Catholic healthcare facilities. ‘During a time when our country is placing their lives under increasingly serious threat, there is a disgraceful misconception that all people of faith do not affirm the full spectrum of gender--a great many of us do,’ read the Wednesday statement, which included signatures of leaders from The Episcopal Church, the Presbyterian Church (USA), the United Church of Christ (UCC), the Unitarian Universalist Association, the Union for Reform Judaism, an association of Quakers and others. ‘Let it be known instead that our beloveds are created in the image of God--Holy and whole,’ the statement said of transgender-identifying individuals. ... ‘Our shared values, held across many faiths, teach us that we are all children of God and that we must cultivate a discipline of hope, especially in difficult times. ... we raise our voices in solidarity to unequivocally proclaim the holiness of transgender, nonbinary, and intersex people, as well as the recognition of the entire spectrum of gender identity and expression. ... our practices of prophetic witness call on us to say with one voice to transgender people among us: You are holy. You are sacred...” CONCLUDING NOTE: God’s Word calls homosexuality dishonor, vile affections, against nature, unseemly, and error: “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”
LANDMARK RULING IN BRITAIN ON DEFINITION OF A WOMAN (Friday Church News Notes, December 12, 2025, www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) - We are republishing this ruling from April in case some of you missed it and because it is such a shockingly reasonable judicial decision in a sinfully insane age. Prayer for those who are in authority is a powerful thing (1 Timothy 2:1-6). The following is excerpted from “Landmark Ruling,” Vision, Queensland, Australia, Apr. 17, 2025: “A landmark ruling by the highest court in Britain, declaring that the legal definition of a woman is based on biological sex, has been welcomed by Christians and women’s rights groups around the world. Five judges of the UK Supreme Court concluded that a woman is legally ‘a biological female’. They were hearing a case brought by campaign group For Women Scotland against the Scottish government, arguing that sex-based protections should only apply to people that are born female. The court had to decide the proper interpretation of ‘sex’ in the Equality Act 2010 which applies across Britain. ... Supreme Court deputy president Lord Patrick Hodge who led the panel announced the verdict: ‘The unanimous decision of this court is that the definition of the terms woman and sex in the Equality Act 2010 refer to a biological woman and biological sex.’ ... Lord Hodge stressed transgender people still had wide-ranging protections against discrimination and harassment. ... Currently, the NHS guidance says trans people should be accommodated according to the way they dress, their names and their pronouns. Following the court ruling, that will no longer be legal.”
GLOBAL ARMS SALES REACH $679 BILLION IN 2024 (Friday Church News Notes, December 12, 2025, www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) - The following is excerpted from “Global arms firms,” World Israel News, Dec. 2, 2025: “Defense firms saw an increase of 5.9% in revenue from sales of arms and military equipment in 2024 as demand worldwide soared amid the wars in Ukraine and Gaza, as well as the rise in military spending of countries across the globe, the Associated Press reported on Sunday, citing a report released last week. The report, conducted by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), said that revenues of the 100 largest weapons manufacturers grew to $679 billion last year, the highest figure on the organization’s record. ... The three main Israeli security firms in the report’s ranking saw a 16% increase to $16.2 billion.” The prophet Joel 3:9-13, “Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong. Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD. Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about. These flowers are designed with mechanical flower structures that work as triggers. Some types use a bee’s back to trigger the pollen discharge. Another uses, yes, the bee’s knees. The Catasetum orchid produces a few male flowers that have a strong scent that attracts a male bee. When the bee lands and trips the pollen trigger, it is showered with that flower's entire hope for the next generation. Then the flower stops producing any scent and begins to wither and die. Now it’s up to the bee to find a female flower for the pollen. It’s not easy for the bee to find a female flower because the Catasetum orchid produces even fewer females than males. But the female flower has an even stronger scent than the male, and it lives longer. If the bee finds a female flower, the future of this orchid is bright because the fruit that results produces three million seeds! That’s as if nearly half the population of New York City had the same mother and father! Because the designs of the Creator are carried out amid such beauty and with such careful planning, evolutionists often talk about evolution as if it were a living being. However, the truth is clear. God is not merely a distant God up in His heaven. Think of it for a moment.
