The Calvinism Debate: Who is the Enemy?
by David W. Cloud

This presentation compares Calvinistic theology with the Bible and warns against the deception that a Christian is required to be either Calvinist or Arminian. In preparation for this message, the author studied John Calvin’s Institutes of Religion as well as many other related materials.

The video message concludes by considering “Who or what is the chief enemy in this debate?” A two-fold answer is given: (1) The chief enemy is any theology that dampens evangelistic zeal; and (2) the chief enemy is any methodology that corrupts evangelistic zeal. The author is convinced that the practice of “easy believism” or “quick Prayerism” is as harmful to the cause of Jesus Christ as hyper-Calvinism.
