We are pleased to announce the publication of a major apologetics teaching package. It is also a course in evangelism.

The course is built upon nearly 40 years of serious Bible study and apologetics writing. Research was done in the author’s 6,000-volume library plus in major museums and other locations in America, England, Europe, Australia, Asia, and the Middle East.

The package consists of a 385-page apologetics course entitled AN UNSHAKEABLE FAITH (available in both print and eBook editions) plus a series of 18 PowerPoint/Keynote presentations. (Keynote is the Apple version of PowerPoint.) The professional PowerPoint presentations consisting of 1,850 slides deal with archaeology, evolution/creation science, and the prophecies pertaining to Israel’s history.

The majority of the photos in the PowerPoint slides were taken on location with a Nikon D700 prosumer digital Single Lens Reflect (SLR) camera.

After each section there are review questions and summaries as teaching aids and to help the students focus on the most important points. Selections can be made from the review questions for sectional and final tests.

ANSWERING THE MYTHS ON THE BIBLE VERSION DEBATE
This book answers 30 of the most popular of these myths, including the following: “King James Onlyism” was invented by a Seventh-day Adventist; there are no doctrinal differences between the modern versions and the KJV; Fundamentalists did not defend the KJV before the 1970s; the KJV been updated in thousands of places; King James I was a homosexual; the KJV translators said all versions are good; the King James Bible is too difficult to understand; Erasmus was a Roman Catholic humanist; Erasmus’ Greek New Testament was hastily done and filled with errors; Erasmus used a mere handful of Greek manuscripts; modern textual criticism is a legitimate science; the difference between the Greek Received Text and the Westcott-Hort text is small and insignificant; Westcott and Hort were theologically sound; Erasmus promised to insert the Johannine Comma if a Greek manuscript was produced and challenged Edward Lee to find a manuscript that included this passage; it is w6rong to paint the entire field of modern textual criticism with the brush of skepticism, seeing that there are also Bible-believing men such as A.T. AVOIDING THE SNARE OF SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISM [ISBN 1-58318-036-2] Called the best on the subject by the editor of The Baptist Challenge, this book is diligently researched from official publications of the Seventh-day Adventist organization. The author proves conclusively that the Seventh-day Adventist gospel is false. The two major divisions of the book are: “Adventist History Proves It is Heretical” and “Adventist Doctrine Proves It Is Heretical.” The book analyzes Adventist doctrines such as Sabbath-keeping, Soul-sleep, Annihilation of the wicked, Ellen White as a Prophetess, Investigative Judgment, and Misuse of the Mosaic Law. BIBLICAL SEPARATISM AND ITS COLLAPSE
We are pleased to announce the publication of a new book entitled BIBLICAL SEPARATISM AND ITS COLLAPSE AMONG INDEPENDENT BAPTISTS.

The book documents the widespread collapse of biblical separatism over the past two decades among fundamental Baptist groups, such as General Association of Regular Baptists (GARBC), Baptist Bible Fellowship International (BBFI), and Southwide Baptist Fellowship. There is a focus on prominent churches such as Highland Park Baptist Church of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Thomas Road Baptist Church of Lynchburg, Virginia.

The book further documents the explosion of apostasy within the Southern Baptist Convention and evangelicalism in general over the past half century. At the very time when many fundamental Baptist churches are tearing down the walls of separation and entering the broader evangelicalism and adopting a contemporary philosophy, those waters have become exceedingly treacherous. We describe ancient and end-time heresies such as cultural liberalism, the downgrade in biblical inspiration, the downgrade in hell, the redefinition of the atonement, the acceptance of homosexual Christians, self-esteemism, and contemplative mysticism.

We document the fact that one of the paths from fundamental Baptist to New Evangelicalism and the contemporary philosophy is a "soft separatism" that is ineffectual to protect the churches.

This is followed by a study on biblical separatism and some examples of individuals who have rejected separatism and entered the evangelical waters only to become spiritually shipwreck.

The reason that the author is deeply concerned about the collapse of separatism is that he is both a Bible-believing Baptist and a separatist by conviction. He is convinced that the "renunciation of separatism" is the renunciation of biblical Christianity. Separation is biblical. It is an "essential" and a "fundamental" doctrine. Separation is not the gospel, but it is a divinely-ordained wall of spiritual protection against apostasy and the world. To reject "separatism" is to tear down this wall so that God's people are no longer kept from the "good words and fair speeches" whereby heretics deceive the hearts of the simple (Romans 16:17-18) and no longer distanced from the siren call of the world.

We are deeply concerned about the next generation, about our kids and grandkids. There are fewer and fewer churches that give more than lip service to separation. There are fewer and fewer churches that we can recommend with a good conscience. Will such churches still exist in 20-30-40 years so that God's people can find the spiritual protection they will need even more urgently then than we do now?

The river of apostasy is flowing powerfully, and all a church needs to do to capitulate is to stop paddling upstream. Giving up separation is easy; maintaining it is not.

We pray that many preachers will join us in the determination not to allow the collapse of biblical separation on our watches.

Israel: Past, Present, and Future shows how ancient Bible prophecies are authenticated in Israel’s past and present.

We examine the astonishing 3,500-year-old prophecy in Deuteronomy 27-28 and document its fulfillment over the past 2,000 years of Israel’s history.

We examine the 2,600-year-old prophecy in Ezekiel 37 and document its fulfillment in modern-day Israel. She is back in the land, but she is spiritually dead just as the prophet predicted. We describe Israel’s unwitting preparations for the Antichrist, including the yearning for peace at almost any price, the expectation of a Messiah to save them from their enemies, and the intense preparations for the building of the Third Temple.

I have built a large library of materials on this subject and have interviewed Pentecostals and Charismatics and attended their churches in many parts of the world. I have also attended large Charismatic conferences with press credentials. I have approached these studies with an open mind in the sense of having a commitment only to the truth and not to anyone’s tradition. I am a member of an independent Baptist church but Baptist doctrine and practice is not my authority; the Bible is. Each fresh evaluation of the Pentecostal-Charismatic movement has brought an increased conviction that it is unscriptural and dangerous. This book begins with my own experience with the Pentecostal movement. The next section deals with the history of the Pentecostal movement, beginning with a survey of miraculous signs from the second to the 18th centuries. We then examine the movements in the 19th century that led up to the creation of Pentecostalism and the outbreak of “tongues-speaking” at Charles Parham’s Bible school in Topeka, Kansas, in 1901, and at William Seymour’s Azusa Street Mission in Los Angeles in 1906. We examine some of the major Pentecostal denominations, the Latter Rain Covenent, the major Pentecostal healing evangelists, the Sharon Schools and the New Order of the Latter Rain, the Manifest Sons of God, the Word-Faith movement and its key leaders, the Charismatic Movement, the Roman Catholic Charismatic Renewal, the Pentecostal Prophets, the Third Wave, and the recent Pentecostal scandals. We conclude the historical section with a look at the Laughing Revival. In the last section of the book we deal with the theological errors of the Pentecostal-Charismatic movements (exalting experience over Scripture, emphasis on the miraculous, Messianic and apostolic miracles can be reproduced, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the baptism of fire, exalting the Holy Spirit, tongues speaking is for today, sinless perfectionism, healing is guaranteed in the atonement, spirit slaying, spirit drunkenness, visions of Jesus, trips to heaven, women preachers, and ecumenism). The final section of the book answers the question: “Why are people deluded by Pentecostal-Charismatic error?” David and Tami Lee, former Pentecostals, after reviewing a section of the book said: “Very well done! PURPOSE DRIVEN OR SCRIPTURE DRIVEN: A WARNING ABOUT RICK WARREN AND THE PURPOSE DRIVEN PHILOSOPHY This book looks at the influential “seeker sensitive” church growth philosophy that is promoted by Rick Warren of Saddleback Church. It contains a review of Warren’s books The Purpose Driven Life and The Purpose Driven Church and a firsthand report of a visit to Saddleback Church. It documents Warren’s weak gospel, his social gospel emphasis, his judge not philosophy, his amazing anti-fundamentalist tirades, and Saddleback’s rock music culture. REPENTANCE AND SOUL WINNING (D.W. Cloud) [ISBN 1-58318-062-1] This is an in-depth study on biblical repentance and a timely warning about unscriptural methods of presenting the gospel. The opening chapter, entitled “Fundamental Baptists and Quick Prayerism: A Faulty Method of Evangelism Has Produced a Change in the Doctrine of Repentance,” traces the change in the doctrine of repentance among fundamental Baptists during the past 50 years. ROMAN CATHOLICISM: PAST & PRESENT (D.W. Cloud). This illustrated report takes a serious look at the Roman Catholic Church, both past and present, and is a vivid warning against the powerful back-to-Rome movement that is sweeping through Christianity. The report begins with a look at Rome today, focusing on the Christianized paganism that is everywhere present. We tour the amazing Vatican and examine Peter’s statue and Peter’s chair and Peter’s crown and Peter’s keys and Peter’s tomb and many other sights. We see the paintings of Minerva and Mercury and other gods and goddesses on the walls of the Vatican Library. We see the “Mouth of Truth” and the “Angel of Light” and witness a scarlet-colored mass performed in the St. Paul Without the Walls basilica. We examine the “Triumph of Faith over Heresy” statue in the main Jesuit church, which depicts Mary casting Luther and Huss out of heaven and an angel ripping their books to shreds. ROME AND THE BIBLE: TRACING THE HISTORY OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH AND ITS PERSECUTION OF THE BIBLE AND OF BIBLE BELIEVERS (D.W.
