Evidence of the total, irredeemable apostasy of the WCC and its member bodies is seen in a calendar printed in Canada. As reported in The Christian Beacon:

"Ten world religions feature the Multi-faith Calendar, September, 1987, to December, 1988. [It was] produced in Canada by ÎCultural Heritage British Columbia, and the Inter-Church- Inter-Faith Committee of the United Church of Canada.â

"Printed in an attractive format, the emblems of these ten world religions, including an unfamiliar cross, are used throughout the pages of the calendar to mark the important festivals, birthdays, and religious features of all of the ten.

"On each page, above the calendar itself, there is a colored picture of one of the faiths with quotations from their prophets. Then there is written out an explanation of what each religion does with its special days in that month.

"The introduction to the Multifaith Calendar explains what each religion is · Christianity is in no way set apart from the others. ÎInterfaithâ and ÎMultifaithâ are two words now being used in ecumenical circles. Both of them involve the same iniquity of honoring idols and dishonoring Jesus Christ."

The ten religions promoted in the calendar are Bahai, Buddhism, Christianity, Hindu, Islam, Judaism, Native People of Canada [North American animists], Sikh, Unitarian and Zoroastrian.

Some of the entries for the month of July 1988, illustrate the abominable nature of this calendar:

"HINDUISM÷Ratha Yatra is a celebration in honr of Krisna, who took the form of Jagannath, Îthe Lord of the Universe,â whose most important temple is at Puri in Orissa. A huge wagon or chariot bears the image of the deity through the streets during the festival."

"BUDDHISM÷Obon-E is an annual service for the deceased, observed at the cemetery and the temple, followed by the Obon Dance."

"SIKH÷Martyrdom of Guru Arjan Dev (1563-1606). The fifth Guru, he built the Harimandir (ÎTemple of Godâ) · in the town of Amritsar (ÎPool of Nectarâ). To emphasize that the Sikh way was open to all, regardless of caste, the temple was constructed with doors facing all four directions·"

The WCC cannot go any deeper into apostasy than it has now gone. If you are a member of a church which is affiliated with the WCC, you are partaking of this sin and will be punished. This is what God says in 2 John 8-11.

God hates idolatry, and the Bible says that idolaters will be outside of the gates of the New Jerusalem. The only hope for an idolater is to turn from every form of idolatry to receive Jesus Christ as only Lord and Savior. Idolatry is the breaking of the first commandment (Exodus 20:3-5).

Ecumenists do not care what the Bible says. They have rebelled against God and have gone their own way. We urge you to come out from among them as God commands. If you are in denominations such as the Church of South India, Church of North India, United Church of Australia, United Church of Canada, Presbyterian Church U.S.A., United Methodist Church, Anglican or Episcopal Church, you are living in sin until you separate yourself from the abominations of these ecumenical groups.
