November 8, 2001 (David Cloud, Fundamental Baptist Information Service, P.O. Box 610368, Port Huron, MI 48061-0368, 866-295-4143, fbns@wayoflife.org) - Some Islamic citizens of America, England, and other Western nations have become traitors by joining Osama bin Laden's terrorist campaign. They are traveling to Afghanistan to fight on the side of the Taliban regime.

Three British citizens were killed on October 24 during U.S. bombing raids near Kabul. Their names are Aftab Mansoor, Afzal Munir and Yasir Khan, and they were from the English towns of Luton and Crawley.

The spokesman for a radical Islamic group called al-Muhajiroun claims that 1,000 British Muslims are on their way to Afghanistan ("Western Muslims Fight for Taliban," CNSNews.com, Oct. 29, 2001). al-Muhajiroun has called for the murder of Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf and British Prime Minister Tony Blair and is suspected of being connected with the recent murder of 15 Christians in Pakistan.

The Courier-Mail of Brisbane, Australia, for November 6 published the description of a United States citizen who is joining the Taliban. He is 26-year-old Mohammad Junaid. In spite of the fact that his mother survived the attack upon the World Trade Center after being led to safety by kind firefighters and policemen, Junaid purchased a one-way ticket to Pakistan to fight against America. He told ITN television: "My mother was in the north tower of the World Trade Centre but I still feel absolutely no remorse about what happened on September 11. I saw the towers collapse but felt nothing for the Americans inside. I may hold an American passport, but I am not an American -- I am a Muslim. I'm willing to kill the Americans. I will kill every American that I see in Afghanistan. And I'll kill every American soldier that I see in Pakistan."

On November 7, American jets bombed a caravan of foreign fighters that had crossed into Afghanistan recently from Pakistan and were on their way to the Taliban front lines ("Afghan opposition reports gains," The Washington Times, Nov. 7, 2001). I wonder if Junaid was in that caravan?
