From time to time, I publish some of the goodies from my interesting mailbox, and many people have told me that they enjoy reading these things. Following are some items from the last couple of months:

THEY LIKE MY TEACHING

?I thank you so much for making your sermons available on-line. I listened to your messages on CCM. Wow! Very eye-opening!?

?First let me thank you for you website and sermons on it. They have been truly a blessing to me. I have used your information time and time again as a reference. Again, Thank you.?

?Currently I have purchased and viewed most of the video's you have on offer with great enthusiasm and lots of Amens.?

?Greetings in Christ. I was not raised in a Christian home, used my musical talents for years in dance bands in the 50s. Got converted and have spent 40 years as a missionary in South America. I am appalled to see and hear how Ôcontemporary Christian musicÕ is flooding the ÔevangelicalÕ churches. Most of the churches that supported us as missionaries sound more like discotheques. Your articles on rock music are excellent. Alas, but contemporary music has thoroughly invaded our mission's national churches in South America.?

?I just wanted you to know how much I appreciated this article [ÔBiblical Guidelines for Clothing.Õ]. We have had quite a few discussions about this lately in our youth group, so I ended up e-mailing it to all of my girls. I really appreciate what you are doing!?

?After reading your article on Veggietales I thought I would mail you as we are in the middle of our preparation for this years VBS at our Fundamentalist Church. The theme this year is Faith Mountain and the music is aptly described in your Veggietales e mail. ÔYou will find almost anything, Caribbean, rock, rap, boogie, belly dance, soft shoe, jazz, you name it. This is a dangerous bridge to the world. It creates a taste in children for rock music and renders them insensitive of the difference between sacred and sensual.Õ Why is the American church so intent on being Ôwarm and fuzzyÕ and silly like you mentioned. Why do they want to be like the world? Bad spiritual roots now bearing the fruit.?

?I have gained much knowledge from reading your many articles and needed to express this. I thank God for you (and those who support you) for the strength He has given you to stand firmly on the side of truth as it is given in His Word. Please never stop ministering to folks like me that can only get strong Biblical teaching from a distance, that is, the internet.?

?I was encouraged by your article on the judgment seat of Christ, there is not enough teaching/preaching on what a Christian can lose out on at his or her judgment. To many Christians today think His judgment is going to be a breeze just because they accepted His free gift. Like they did Jesus a favor by believing. The church needs a healthy fear of God. Knowing that Jesus could be ashamed of you at your judgment should give the Christian that fear.?

?I just recently purchased your book entitled Contemporary Christian Music Under the Spotlight, and it is one of the most in-depth studies on contemporary culture and their music. It is filled with the facts out of the mouths of the contemporary Christian music artists themselves. They expose their own music by their own comments. Thank you for revealing this in your very informative book.?

?I want to thank you for your website. It is a tremendous blessing and encouragement to me and my family. Your website is one I check into regularly because of its frequent new articles and updates. Thank you for standing against the ecumenical movement and preaching the truth of God's word. The ÔWay of Life Encyclopedia of the Bible and ChristianityÕ that I recently purchased is also a blessing to my family and myself. Thank you for writing it. I am an ex-evangelical Christian. I left my big fancy, party-hearty evangelical church about 4 months ago because of its deep compromise and now attend a small Bible believing KJV church. Once again, thank you for your website and your frequent updated articles. Keep the faith. Fight the good fight. Pastor Cloud and all of you are in my prayers.?

?Thank you for coming to our church last weekend. We all really enjoyed your preaching. Many of our people are being challenged by your literature. One family is going through the repentance book for family devotions (I couldn't be more thrilled about that) and they are also going through two other of your books. One of our 16 year old young men felt the call of God for pastoring ministry through your sermons as well. Thank you for being willing to take such bold stands on such urgent needs in churches today.?

?Thanks again for the great scholarship! You are hitting areas no one else seems to be.?

?Thanks for a great article. As a woman, when I got convicted about wearing pants and began to wear only dresses, I couldnÕt believe the freedom I experienced!?

?May the Lord bless you for your ministry. Know that so many of us are better understanding the truth thru this ministry. I am thankful that you are bold and do not stoop down to a worldly level.?

?I want you to know that your work is appreciated and is vitally important! Many of your newsletters are forwarded on to friends and family and I thank you.?

THEY DONÕT LIKE MY TEACHING

?What you have done is down a man [Jack Hyles] with perhaps bigger aspirations than you. I bet you have never had 5,000 saved in one day. And of course, God, (oh, I mean Mr. Cloud) you are Mr. Infallibility. Before you question others motives, perhaps you should remove the ÔmoteÕ out of you own eye and read Matthew 7:1, ÔJudge not, that ye be not judged.Õ Leave the judging to God. ? Mr. Cloud, you have a burr under your saddle. You are a back-biter (seems the Bible has something to say about that). ? You are doing huge damage to the cause of Christ.?

?I detect jealousy in your writing and instead of attack, you should find yourself praying for Mr. Billy Graham. I am not aware of everything Mr. Graham has said or done in his ministry, but for the sake of Christianity you need to repent. Who are you to judge? At least Mr. Graham has done some good for Christianity, what have you done? Who are you? God looks on you as FILTHY RAGS........and the more you bash Mr. Billy Graham the filthier you get.?

?I love it when you attack all of present day Christian groups with quotes, including those that date back 10, 15 and even 20 years ago. That is so funny. It is like condemning RussiaÕs present president with quotes from Stalin. Good job. Glad you are closer to Christ now that you have condemned Christians who are in their spiritual walk in a different place than you are. Definitely being Christ like there.?

?You and all affiliated with this site are Heretics! Your comments on the LordÕs ONE and ONLY Catholic Church are outrageous! Our Lord would be furious. You will have much explaining to do at the last judgment. You say you try to examine Catholic Teachings in the Ôlight of the bibleÕ; if you don't believe in the Catholic Church, donÕt use the book the Catholic Church compiled at the council of Carthage, 350 ad. If you do that you are lying to yourself! ItÕs rather pitiful either my churchÕs 2,000 year history, vs. your churchÕs 300 year history (that is if your just ordinary Baptists and not one of the other 250 kinds) You cannot be of ChristÕs church and you need not say you represent him.?

?This website is not only offensive to Lennon fans, but religious as well. To say that ÔanglicanismÕ is dead only shows contempt to others of different religions. But Fundamentalism is not known for tolerance and only leads to division, which is in direct violation of Jesus' comamndments. Please take down this horribly vicious website.?

?Lennon was Murdered by an evil Fundamentalist. Thank God I was not raised in
this kind of Church, where negativity and judgment reign supreme! God Bless John Lennon and the joy he brought to the world through his songs!?

?Please give my regards to both of your other supporters. You are doing a great work. Everyone is taking your rantings so seriously. That is why you have to promote yourself so much, because otherwise no one would even know you exist.?

?After coming across your site and reading all of your slanders and gossips against all ministries but your own, my heart grew sad. ? Matthew, Chapter 7 is a good place to start. It is NO man's place to judge others. God alone has that job. God will expose the proud and arrogant. Your actions are compared to that of witchcraft in God's Word. What God do you serve? ? Clean up your spirit and repent of your gossip and slander. One day, you too, will stand before the throne of God and be judged.?

?I love John Lennon, warts and all. ? John expressed doubts about religious matters in his music and this does not make him evil. ? I am saddened that you could not see anything good in John Lennon. ? Even a song such as ÔAll you need is LoveÕ is not appreciated for itÕs total beauty and loving sentiment. Look at the good in people.?

?I invite you to open your heart to the truth that thousands of men just like my brother have accepted Christ as a direct result of PK...and in my opinion it is not your place (or
anyone elses) to question what God is obviously doing in the hearts of those men. PK would not be successful without God's favor, and by opposing it I believe you are opposing God.?

?To The God like Beings. Please take the time to read this as I took the time to read the rubbish you put forth. First I am a missionary in Israel and have been doing this work for the past seven years. ? It is not your job to make others feel guilty for the things they have done in there life. ? One drop of Jesus in a manÕs soul is greater then one thousand sermons.?

?We at Baylor [University] have indeed remain outside the fundamentalist fold, and for good reason too: some of the most unforgivable crimes in history can be attributed to Ôreligious certaintyÕ, to say nothing of the intellectual laziness attendant to an inerrancy perspective. Perhaps your education lacked a proper humanist perspective, and hence your intolerance of all things outside your own personal perspective. No matter, be assured that, unlike yourself, we endorse your right to believe as you wish--we just wish that you would be big enough to return the favor. Remember that Jesus wasnÕt hung up on doctrine---that was PaulÕs area. A group of amused professors.?

?I read your views about veggie tales. Its obvious to me you donÕt even know god at all. He invented humor. I have had God joke with me personally. This is common among many Christians that I know of. I would seriously check yourself if I were you.?
