PALAU CRUSADE BRINGS CATHOLICS AND PROTESTANTS TOGETHER

Luis Palau's May 16-21 crusade in Londonderry, Northern Ireland, brought together churches "we never dreamt would work together," said Howard Lewis of the Evangelical Alliance in Northern Ireland. Roman Catholics and Protestants worshiped together in a tent-pavilion on the bank of the Foyle River, which divides Protestant and Catholic communities (National & International Religion Report, June 12, 1995, cited in What in the World!, Vol. 18, No. 1).
